Press Add buttons and enter your account information.
You need to set URL field only if you will use Movable type.
Your just add your account name, login and password and receive window with your account information.
You can press button Refresh from server. If your entered correct information you will connect and get all your
weblogs for this account.
After you added accounts you can see the list of accounts.
If you doesn’t refresh weblogs, you receive the message about it when you will entered HBlogger next time.
You can see following icon:
Account info icon, when you pressed on this icon you would receive account info window.
This is icon shows that this account has some draft post. Press on this icon to open post from drafts.
This is icon shows that this account has some unsent post. Press on this icon to open post from unsent.
Menu at the top of the screen provides access to:
- Action menu:
- New Post — create a new post in current account;
- Account info — shows account's details;
- Edit account — edit current account;
- Edit Last Post — last edited post.
- Go to menu:
- Drafts — open the list of draft post;
- Posted — open the list of sent posts;
- Unsent — open the list of unsent posts.
- Options menu:
- Preferences.. — change program preferences;
- Disconnect from network — shutdown network connection on your Palm.
- Help menu:
- Help — HBlogger help;
- Support — support information;
- About HBlogger — copyright information.
Allow you to select the Post Signature, Upload image preferences, Encoding and etc.
Upload image preferences give you the list of upload images parameters:
Upload FTP server, Upload login, Upload password, Target URL — this fields need
to be define to upload image. Other fields is optional.
For select Upload FTP server parameter, please enter name of FTP server and folder where you post pictures.
This folder should be accessible by HTTP to reference them from your blog posts.
For example: ftp.myisp.com://users/joe/public_html/pictures/
For select Upload login parameter, please enter account name for FTP image upload.
For select Upload password parameter, please enter FTP account password for image upload.
For select Target URL parameter, please enter URL which will be used to access pictures uploaded
by FTP. For example: http://www.myisp.com/~joe
For select Image Search Path parameter, please enter the folder at your Flash card where your camera
software stores pictures. For Clie devices you may need to specify something like /DCIM/101MSDCF
When you switch to drafts/unsent/posted post, Action menu will change:
- When you switch to drafts/unsent:
- New Post — create new post;
- Delete Post — delete selected post;
- Edit Last Post — last edited post;
- Send — send selected post;
- Send All — send all post.
- When you switch to posted:
- New Post — create new post;
- Edit Last Post — last edited post;
- Delete Post - delete selected post;
When you switch to edit mode, Action menu will change:
- Send — your post will be send and appear in posted;
- Send Later — your post will go to unsent;
- Save — your post will be saved as draft;
- Delete — delete selected post;
- Cancel — undo all changes in current post;
- Upload image —choose parameters for uploading image;
In edit mode, menu has Edit menu item:
- Undo — undo the last action;
- Cut — cut the selected text;
- Copy — copy the selected text;
- Paste — paste the selected text;
- Select All — select all text in the memo;
- Keyboard — launch the virtual keyboard;
- Graffiti Help — bring up the graffiti prompt;
- Clean — clean subject and body of current post.
Option menu consist from Option’s menu items and also Help’s menu items.
In this mode you can create new post or edit existing post.
If you click on “Options” you can add some extended attributes to your post. This is feature
exist only for Live Journal.
If you click on “HTML” you can add HTML tags to your post.
If you click on “LJ” you can some LJ-tags to your post. This is feature exist only for Live Journal.
— Send — your post will be send and appear in posted;
— Outbox — your post will go to unsent;
— Save — your post will be saved as draft;
— Delete — your post will be deleted;
— Close — undo all changes in current post and close it.
